Content Policy

1. Where this policy applies

There are two very different kinds of space in the Service, and both are covered:

• Your private space. Agreements, rules, tasks, check-ins, journals, logs, wardrobe, calendar, and any photos you upload — visible only to you and the other member of your dynamic.
• The community library. A shared catalogue of suggested rules, permissions, protocols, and tasks that anyone using the Service can browse. It is text only — no photos — and anything you contribute to it is public to every other member.

Because the library is seen by strangers, it carries extra rules of its own in section 5.

2. Everyone involved must be an adult, and must have agreed

Every account holder confirms they are 18 or over before they can use the Service — see the Age Verification Policy. The same is true of anyone who appears in what you upload. You are responsible for having the genuine, informed, ongoing agreement of every adult depicted in or described by your content, and for having the right to upload it at all.

3. Never allowed, without exception

The following are prohibited anywhere in the Service, including in your private space. There is no context in which they are acceptable, and no warning before we act:

• Any sexual content involving a minor, real or generated, however stylised, and any content that sexualises a person under 18. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
• Any content depicting or describing a real person under 18 in a sexual or romantic context, including yourself at an earlier age.
• Intimate images of an adult shared without their agreement, including so-called revenge material and images obtained by deception or by accessing someone's account.
• Content depicting real non-consensual sexual activity, real coercion, or real violence, and content that records or encourages sexual assault.
• Content depicting or promoting human trafficking, sexual services for payment, or the sexual exploitation of anyone.
• Content involving animals or corpses.
• Content that promotes or instructs in serious physical harm, including practices carrying a substantial risk of death or permanent injury, self-harm, or suicide.
• Content that promotes terrorism, or that incites violence or hatred against people for who they are.
• Anything else that is illegal to create, hold, or share where you live or where we operate.

4. Other people's information

Your relationship map, journals, and notes can name people who never agreed to be written about. Keep that in proportion. Do not upload another person’s identity documents, contact details, address, workplace, medical information, or private messages, and do not use the Service to track, expose, or build a file on someone. Never upload a photo of another person in a sexual or intimate context unless they are an adult who has agreed to it.

A dynamic can involve an imbalance of power by design. Consent to the dynamic is not consent to everything: your partner has to actually agree to what you record about them, and either of you can withdraw that agreement at any time.

5. The community library

Entries you contribute to the community library are copied into other people’s spaces and read by strangers, so they are held to a higher bar than your private notes. Library entries must:

• Contain no photos, no personal details, and no identifying information about you, your partner, or anyone else.
• Describe something two consenting adults could reasonably agree to, not something that requires coercing an unwilling person.
• Not instruct in anything carrying a serious risk of lasting harm, and not present a risky practice as safe.
• Not advertise, solicit, recruit, or point people to another service.
• Not be abusive, hateful, or written to distress whoever reads it.

The library is moderated in three ways. Curated entries are written by us and reviewed before publication. Community entries are checked against the existing catalogue when submitted, and any member can report one; three reports remove it from the catalogue automatically, while the person who wrote it keeps their own copy. Beyond that, we read the reports: we can take an entry down without waiting for three of them, and we can put back one that was taken down unfairly.

Reports are private. Nobody is told who reported them — including us, when we act on one. What we see is the entry and the reason given, never the person who gave it.

6. Reporting something

For a community library entry, use the report control on the entry itself. For anything else — an account, a person you believe is under 18, an image of you shared without your agreement, or content you believe is illegal — email support@mydynamicapp.com with as much detail as you can give us: what you saw, where, and when. If you are the person in an image that was uploaded without your agreement, say so and we will treat it urgently.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We cannot intervene in a physical emergency.

7. What we do about it

We do not routinely read the private content of a dynamic — the database rules that keep each couple’s space isolated are the same rules that keep us out of it. When we receive a report, or when the law requires it, we investigate as far as we are able and may:

• Remove or hide the content in question.
• Suspend or permanently terminate the accounts involved, without refund.
• Preserve relevant records where we are legally required to, or where doing so protects someone at risk.
• Report to NCMEC, to law enforcement, or to another authority, as the law requires or allows.

For anything involving a minor, termination and reporting are automatic. There is no appeal and no second chance.

8. Appeals

Except where section 7 says otherwise, if you believe we removed content or ended your access in error, email us within 30 days and tell us why. We will look again and reply. Where the law gives you a formal right of appeal, that right is not affected by this section.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service changes or the law requires. Material changes will be dated above and, where appropriate, flagged in the app. Questions go to support@mydynamicapp.com.
