The Dynamic

Age Verification Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

The Dynamic is for consenting adults only. This policy explains the age requirement, how an account confirms it meets that requirement, what we keep as a result, and what happens when someone under 18 is found using the Service.

1. The requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. If the age of majority where you live is higher than 18, you must have reached that age instead. This is a condition of the Terms of Use, not a preference, and it applies to both members of a dynamic.

2. How an account confirms its age

Before any screen of the app opens, a new account is asked for its date of birth and must confirm that it is accurate. Nothing in the Service is reachable until that is done.

  • The 18+ rule is enforced by the database itself, not only by the app. A date of birth that works out to under 18 is refused outright and no record is created, so bypassing the on-screen gate achieves nothing.
  • The date of birth is stated once and cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, so the statement cannot be quietly revised later.
  • A date in the future, or impossibly far in the past, is rejected as a typo rather than accepted.

Accounts that existed before this gate was introduced are not asked again; they agreed to Terms requiring them to be 18 or over when they signed up, and that requirement continues to apply to them in full.

3. What we store, and who can see it

We store your date of birth and the moment you confirmed it. It is held apart from your profile, and the access rules allow exactly one person to read it: you. It is not shown to the other member of your dynamic, it is not part of your profile, and it is not used for anything other than establishing that you are old enough to be here and meeting our legal obligations. It is covered by the Privacy Policy like everything else, and it is deleted with your account.

4. Further verification

A stated date of birth is a declaration, and we treat a false one as a serious breach of the Terms. Where we have reason to doubt an account’s age, or where the law in your jurisdiction requires a stronger check, we may ask for additional proof of age through a third-party verification provider before allowing continued access. We would not receive or store a copy of an identity document in that process, and we will say so at the time if it ever applies to you.

5. Everyone in your content must be an adult too

The age requirement is not only about account holders. You may not upload, record, or describe any sexual or intimate content involving a person under 18 — including yourself at an earlier age, and including generated or stylised depictions. This is set out in full in the Content Policy.

6. Reporting a minor

If you believe someone under 18 is using the Service, or that content involving a minor has been uploaded, email support@mydynamicapp.com with whatever detail you have. Reports about a minor are handled ahead of everything else.

7. What happens

An account we determine to belong to someone under 18 is terminated and its content removed. No refund is given for a subscription on a terminated underage account. Content involving a minor is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, and relevant records are preserved where the law requires it.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the law and the Service change. Questions go to support@mydynamicapp.com.
